Ready-mix concrete delivery in Cape Town

Ready-mix concrete is batched at a plant and delivered in a truck mixer, ready to pour. For anything more than a couple of cubic metres it's faster and more consistent than mixing on site.

Questions

What strength of concrete do I need?
Your engineer or plans will specify it. As a rough guide, 20 to 25 MPa is common for house foundations and slabs, and higher strengths are used for structural and commercial work.
Is there a minimum order?
Most plants have one, often around 1 to 3 m³, or charge a small-load fee below it. Suppliers show this in their quote.
